Brochures are printed items/pages that aims to provide information, advertisement and services.
Brochure design needs an understanding of advertising, trademark, page design and publishing’s basic principles.
Similar to other promotional materials, brochure requires suitable concept and theme.
Consistent Format

  • The headline and subhead line must also be consistent to the pages and contrasted with body copy.

  • If there are two different fonts are used, like sans Serif and serif, they have to look suitable to each other.

Folding a Brochure

  • The mechanism in folding a brochure is a part of designing process. Margin and panel has to be set to ease the folding and does not effect the text.

  • In a three panels and three columns brochure with margin 0.5” between columns, should measures 1” or twice the size width of the margin.
